About Dr. Levy
Yedidya Levy, Psy.D. is a psychologist in private practice, the founder of Alloy Psychotherapy, and the assistant director at the Yeshiva University Counseling Center in New York City. He specializes in psychodynamic psychotherapy and works individually and in groups with adults experiencing a variety of symptoms, from acute crisis to broader feelings of discontent. His specialty is in working with men on improving issues around depression, anxiety, anger management, and relationships.

Dr. Levy's approach to psychotherapy involves an emphasis on exploration of one's history, affect, and relational experiences inside and outside of the therapy encounter. He also utilizes CBT techniques when most applicable. His aim to provide both short term relief and long term wellbeing. He is committed to honoring the individuality and uniqueness of his clients, tailoring the therapy process to achieve their goals.
Dr. Levy's clinical work is supported by a robust body research, and a well established track record of success. Although, psychotherapy rarely expereinced as "easy," his clients trust his to be warm, honest, and insightful.
